SDSN Youth has decided to partner with The Circle of Young Intrapreneurs (COYI) and supporti the publication of ‘Social Intrapreneurship: What It is, why it matters and what it means for you’, a new Report which seeks to provide timely insights on the value that social intrapreneurship delivers to businesses and communities, in order to inform the strategies of all stakeholders involved in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.

On 9 November 2017, SDSN Youth co-hosted an official side-event titled “Supporting Youth-Led Innovation to Confront Climate Change: Opportunities for Action”, at the 23rd Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Bonn, Germany. The eventsought to bring together innovators and those public and private stakeholders whose support is essential for youth skills to be harnessed in support of sustainable development, including governments, international organizations, investors, and financing mechanisms.
Preluding the High-Level Political Forum 2017, SDSN Youth and The Social Investment Consultancy (TSIC) created a policy brief outlining key recommendations for policy-makers to advance youth innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Here follows the last post in a series of three summarizing its content.
Through its policy brief, SDSN Youth highlighted the challenges that young innovators face in delivering solutions to the SDGs and identified key benefits arising from youth-led innovation for SDGs. The IUCN representative, which discussed the PANORAMA solutions platform (a partner of SDSN Youth for the Youth Solutions Report), spoke of the contributions of youth-led solutions to environmental conservation, while Mr. Bulyaev shared the lesson learned while working to develop the skills of thousands of young people entering the job market in challenging conditions in East Africa.
