Geneva Challenge 2018 | Award Ceremony

SDSN Youth renews its partnership with the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and the Kofi Annan foundation to award a Special Prize within the context of the 2018 Geneva Challenge, acknowledging a student-led project that has been particularly effective in integrating the SDG framework in its design and which shows a promising potential to be implemented and scaled.

The project, titled “Enhanced Sustainable Concrete: Combining Existing Technologies in a Novel Manner to Promote the Sustainable Development of Water and Concrete Industries Worldwide", was developed by an interdisciplinary team of three students from the University of Toronto. It will receive an award during the final ceremony of the Challenge, taking place at the Graduate Institute on the 27th of November.

Vatican Youth Symposium 2018 | Presentation of the Youth Solutions Hub

On October 31, 2018, the Pontifical Academy of Sciences (PAS), in collaboration with the Sustainable Development Solutions Network Youth, will host the Vatican Youth Symposium at the Casina Pio IV in Vatican City. This conference brings together more than 50 young leaders, from over 30 countries and a variety of disciplines, to co-generate solutions for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Within that context, our Project Leader Dario Piselli will launch our new flagship initiative, the Youth Solutions Hub.
